STORM SHIELD SYSTEM™ 10 YEAR WARRANTY
Palmetto Storm Protection, LLC warrants to the original owner of the Storm Shield System™ that the Storm Shield Systems™ panels will be free from manufacturing defects causing rotting, delaminating, or excessive swelling to the panels for a period of ten (10) years from the date of the original installation of the Storm Shield System™.
This limited warranty is effective if Storm Shield Systems™ and its accessories are only subjected to normal use and exposure as intended and that they are stored, handled, installed, and periodically maintained, in accordance with standard building practices, and the installation guidelines provided by Palmetto Storm Protection, LLC The Storm Shield Systems™ is intended for hurricane protection and is not designed for uninterrupted permanent use. Please consult your representative for additional specification maintenance information if semi-permanent use is needed.
Any claim under this LIMITED AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY is effective if the Storm Shield System™ and its accessories are only subjected to normal use and exposure as intended. Within 30 days after discovery of any covered defect and before any alterations are made, Hurricane Protection Systems, LLC must then be given 30 days to inspect the subject material before it will honor any claims under this LIMITED AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. If, after inspection and verification of the problem, Palmetto Storm Protection, LLC determines that there is a material failure covered by this LIMITED AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY, Palmetto Storm Protection, LLC sole responsibility will be the replacement of the defective Storm Shield System™ part or panel material.
No other warranty may be made on behalf of Palmetto Storm Protection, LLC by the seller or installer with respect to the product or its installation, use, replacement, or repair. Neither Palmetto Storm Protection, LLC, the seller or installer shall be liable by virtue of this LIMITED AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY, or otherwise, for any special, incidental, or consequential damage resulting from the installation or use of this product. Palmetto Storm Protection, LLC makes no warranty with respect to the installation of its products by the system seller or installer. There are no warranties that extend beyond the face hereof.
Further, if Storm Shield System™ is installed where EIFS or any other synthetic or non traditional exterior cladding is used, Palmetto Storm Protection, LLC, its seller and installer shall not be responsible for any resulting moisture problems that might occur with regards to EIFS or any other synthetic or non-traditional stucco exterior cladding and Palmetto Storm Protection, LLC, its sellers and installers shall not be responsible if the installation voids the EIFS or synthetic or non-traditional stucco manufacturer’s or installer’s warranties.

Maintenance
Storm Shield Systems™ require no maintenance contract because the material is impenetrable by water or salt. All materials are guaranteed for 10 years.
